Red Mesa Grill - Traverse City

The Mexican food here is excellent! I tried the enchilada platter, which was absolutely delicious. It featured both pork carnitas and ancho chicken, and the smoked beans and rice were amazing. Additionally, the house salsa is some of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

I had dinner here last night, and the food was outstanding! I wish the Mexican restaurants back home were this delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was excellent as well. I would definitely return if I'm ever in the area again.

I ordered the hard shell ground beef tacos, and unfortunately, they were so greasy that the hard shell turned into a soft shell and fell apart. I had to use a fork to eat it off the plate. The taste was alright, but I ended up using my paper napkin to soak up as much grease as I could. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating.

Was blessed to have the Red Mesa Grill within easy walking distance of our motel. Tasty food and ample portions. Efficient and friendly service from Server Heather R. Enjoyed my Taco Salad (a lot black beans, maybe too many, but tasted good), hibiscus margarita and salsa was delicious. Parking: Convenient and free parking

Disclaimer.. we are from Texas and we take our Texmex seriously... nothing we had was tex or mex but bland Americanized food with a nice atmosphere to eat it... not a horrible meal but not really authentic...
