My sister-in-law and I had dinner at PepeNero before our Twilight Village Commons tour. I loved the ambiance and our server was knowledgeable and super helpful. She took great care of us. I had the smoothest most flavorful mushroom soup to start and the melt in your mouth branzino for dinner. My sis had a wonderful salad to start and the fantastic linguini for dinner. Oh and the best cocktails to start, mine was a Dino’s Margarita (which has ruined me for any other margarita as it was just that amazing) and my sis had the black Manhattan. Oh and the mini-truffles they served us after dinner (we didn’t have room for dessert) were dream-worthy! All exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend PepeNero. We will be back next time we visit TC.
Our dinner at PepeNero was wonderful. Our server, Noah, took great care of us throughout our visit and Chef Giorgio and his team prepared what I can easily describe as a perfect, professionally-presented meal for us. My only regret is not getting more pictures to share.
OH MY GOODNESS! I could NOT recommend PepeNero more if I tried. We went at the end of April 2022 to kick off a bachelorette party weekend. The food, the service, the drinks absolutely amazing! Our server, Noah, was hilarious and really took care of us. He recommended different food and drinks, and I now trust him with my life. Be prepared to *splurge* a bit if you end up doing multiple drinks, appetizers, and an entree. Worth every penny! PS, PepeNero, sorry we were so loud and kept you guys at work while the restaurant was empty. We were having too much fun!
Overall, quite good. Very good. Kathleen provided exceptional service. All the dishes were prepared very well, except the branzino was slightly overdone. The price of the rye Manhattan was truly excessive. I just wish the presentation of the menu was more authentically Italian, that is, that courses were smaller. All the portion sizes were too large IMO (even the excellent mushroom soup). For example, one can't order a course-size pasta dish; they come only in entree portions. In short, this is a very Americanized version of an Italian restaurant. It certainly warrants a return visit; I just wish it wasn't so Americanized.
