Green House Café - Traverse City

The service and food at this restaurant are amazing. The atmosphere is lovely and I cannot stop raving about the bacon!

I have no idea why this restaurant has received such great reviews. The place was dirty and the food was very average. It tasted like frozen food, with powdered eggs and burnt or raw hash browns. The bacon was undercooked and the price of a plain black coffee was $3.50. The eggs Benedict was extremely plain and I have had better food on an airplane. Overall, the meal of eggs, bacon, toast, one eggs Benedict, coffee, and juice cost $40. I don't mind paying for a good meal, but this place was very disappointing.

This is the best omelette I have ever tasted! The baked potato omelette is amazing. It truly tastes like a baked potato, not just an omelette with egg. It's like a taste bud illusion. I can't wait to go back. The wait staff is very friendly. This is a must try!

We went to the cafe on a busy summer weekend. I know there are labor shortages but was disappointed with how long it took to get our food and that even after waiting so long it was not fully cooked toasted. It was one hour after we ordered before beingserved. The rehydrated shredded potatoes were barely browned. I ordered toast and was served warm bread with butter wiped on it.Having said that, the food was tasty. I?m sure on a less busy day the place would be better.

The server was very kind and helpful, and the location good. The food was pretty good as well. I would give it another star if it wasn't so hot inside, and if the food (breakfast food) didn't take 45 minutes to arrive after being ordered. Was still anoverall positive visit.
