7 Monks Taproom - Traverse City

Stopped in for dinner. No wait. Order food at bar. Everything was good all around! Staff was great and had short wait time for food.

Beautiful downtown area and nice location. We sat outside and ordered from app, pretty convenient. Food we ordered was good. Unfortunately they were out of a few things we wanted to try.

We really enjoyed this place; the server was friendly, attentive and helped us choose suitable items. Food was not fancy but was very good.

I took my family to this restaurant in hopes of a good and relaxing meal. I’ll keep it short. The food was mid, the prices were ok and the service was terrible. The bar tender was unpleasant and mean. She made it clear that she did not want to be there. We had an issue. Instead of approaching us with class and professionalism, she came at us like a bull. Even before and after the issue, she was unpleasant. I would never return. This establishment needs better customer service training. Check out other places.

7 Monks is an absolute favorite. Hands down the BEST staff anywhere!!! They make you feel welcome every time and truly, they are the biggest reason we consider ourselves regulars ! The food is also outstanding. The double smash burger is hands down the best burger in Traverse City and my personal go to, but anything you order is a home run!!! The awesome selection of beverages is the cherry on top! Delicious cocktails, wine and a HUGE choice of beers. I never choose my own because the staff is so knowledgeable about the rotating beers on tap. I always ask them to pick one for me and I 'm never disappointed. The vibe of the restaurant is cozy, lively and inclusive. Trust me when I tell you, 7 Monks is a go to if you are lucky enough to find yourself in Traverse City!!!
