First impressions from the footpath were it's another Thai... but on entering, I was stunned at how large the restaurant is. It has lovely exposed wood along it's bar... so it's quite nice as you wander in. The staff were friendly and quite attentive. I picked up a menu to order takeaway and there was another couple ordering as well. They told me when they had eaten in that there was more on offer when you eat in. Although you still get a good choice on their takeaway menu. The seating for those waiting for orders is very comfortable and the exposed wood makes it feel a bit homely. All in all... my food was good, the service was good, the prices were very reasonable ... this is a nice alternative from the other choices of Asian food in town.
Went with friends for lunch the other day. Three positives I found are: 1. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the tables are a good size and each person had good space for their meal.2. Also, tables are spaced so as they are not too close and you can hear the conversation at your table. 3. Food tastes good also.Negatives I found:1. No coffee or tea available. Alcohol, 'soft drink & water but no coffee or tea at the end of your meal.2. When the food arrived, waitress stood at the end of the table and 'reached' over my friend to give me my meal. As I said before - there is good space between tables - definitely a turn off.3. One friend only ordered a main meal whereas we had entree & main. Our friends main meal was served before any of us got our entree.I had Spring Rolls entree, Pad Thai as my main & a glass of wine. Cost was $24 which I thought was good but I won't be going back because the negatives outweighed the positives to me.
Two meals in one here ! First & Last. Marinades and sauces tasted straight out of the Woolworths bottle! Sorry, but far from meeting expectations!!
The restaurant offers a wide variety of menu options to cater to everyone's tastes. We ordered an appetizer, roti bread, a large serving of rice, and one main dish. Despite our best efforts, two of us couldn't finish all the food, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were able to select the level of spiciness, which was just perfect for us. The restaurant is suitable for groups, provides high chairs, and allows for both BYO and licensed alcohol. We will definitely dine here again in the future!
