Dooly's - Tramore

The chips were limp and greasy. Throughout the day, I couldn't stop thinking about how the fish was just average, nothing remarkable. There doesn't seem to be much variety in Ireland when it comes to frying fish, as everyone seems to use the same batter.

I recently visited Tramore with my extended family for a day out. We ordered a large variety of dishes from Dooleys and were not disappointed. The food was delicious, just as we expected after years of dining there. We ate everything on our plates and found the prices to be very reasonable. Thank you, Dooleys, for a wonderful dining experience.

I felt that the food was overpriced and when I went back to inquire about the charges, the staff brushed it off and tried to justify it. Additionally, some items were missing from my order.

The chips were limp and oily, and the haddock fish was just average. The batter lacked crispiness, and overall, the chips were the disappointment of the meal.

Gluten-free options are only available Thursday through Sunday, which is not advertised on the app or online menu. The restaurant does not offer a gluten-free burger, even though it is July. Despite being very busy, the staff, who are quite young, often make mistakes with orders if there are more than two items. Previous experiences at the restaurant have been good, but it is clear that proper training is lacking. The inconsistency of being able to phone in orders is also a drawback. Overall, I may hesitate to return to this restaurant.
