During a visit to this restaurant with some friends on a Saturday night, we were reprimanded for being too loud in a pub on a weekend night instead of just being asked to lower our volume. Personally, I don't agree with this approach. We were indeed being loud, but the way the owner handled the situation dampened our experience.

Extremely rude landlady to some customers. Group was a little loud , though rather than ask to quieten down a little were told ‘if don’t quieten down can leave’ Other bar staff said was always like that and looked embarrassed. Don’t go!
