Sokrates Taverna - Trafford

Fantastic date night at Sokrates. The staff member on the night was super friendly and welcoming and catered to everything really well. The food was fantastic all round and we unfortunately had no space left to try dessert this time, so we will be back.

We recently had 2 take out delivery meals from Sokrates having dined in there a few years back. OMG the food was just as wonderful as I remember and authentically greek in taste. The highlights for us were the Chicken Souvlaki and the Stifado, but we have had both the meze and chosen our own and all were delicious. I highly recommend you try it. Looking forward to the next meal already.

This restaurant truly immerses you in the flavors of its cuisine. While the decor may not be fancy, the food is exceptional.

The restaurant was a bit quiet, but the food was delicious and the staff were excellent. My only minor complaint would be that the restroom could use some updating. I would rate the service and food a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. I would recommend trying the Souvlaki Dinner. The price per person for dinner was between £20-30.
