The Greenfield Restaurant Bar

Perfection! Accommodated my request to sit on the patio, too. From the bread to the cream puff dessert, it was absolutely perfect! Our waitress, Allana (sp? , was as kind as could be. The filet mignon was the best I've had and melted in my mouth. I have lived in Central PA my whole life, and can't believe I had never heard of The Greenfield. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

With one exception, all of the food we were served was excellent. The exception was the crabcakes, which had too many pieces of crab shell in them. The venue is very nice, a very relaxing environment.

Our table was ready and was in a corner so was pleased we had privacy for a date night. It was nicely lit and comfortable, quiet and cool. The waitress, Linda, was very familiar with the menu and my allergies. What I could and could not have. She took every precaution with her order and still my dinner came out wrong. (A runner delivered, not Linda so she didn't see it). She immediately took care of my meal. The food was average, at best. My filet was so dry. The veggies were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were boring. The dessert was fabulous! The wine list is lovely. I would recommend you try the Greenfield however, we won't be back.

The 1780 home creates a wonder setting that is highlighted in a copse of trees and lots of pretty flowers and shrubbery surrounding the house. The home was renovated and is very well appointed. The staff were all very friendly, prompt and well informed about the menu and offered suggestions when asked. The food was served in a reasonable timeframe and the waitress checked back a couple of times to assure that we had adequate water, drinks, etc. A great experience and we will definitely go there again on our next visit to Lancaster.

We started at the bar with drinks and shrimp cocktail. The Manhattan and Rose wine were excellent. The Shrimp were a good size and tasty. For dinner we had seafood linguine and a filet. Both entrees were delicious and I ate every single bite of my filet meal. Service from Jason at the bar and Kim in the dining room were excellent!
