Xī Tīng・dà Xǐ とやマルシェ Diàn

The black ramen soup here is very very very very salty. It like the soup was made out of pure soy sauce, no other flavor. I tried to eat only the noodle but I could not finish. There must be something wrong here. Not recommend at all.

We came here for dinner. Not so many restaurants to choose from but the gift shops are very neat. It is a good place to look around.

Maybe it's because I'm American and am therefore well-acquainted with aggressively-salted restaurant food, but like... while the seasoning was definitely noticeable, there's no way I would call it inedible or anything. More than salt, I got a big hit of pepper which I really enjoyed, as it added a mellow spice to the broth and the toppings. Happy with the amount of meat in the bowl and the noodles, as I prefer them to be on the thick side.

I tend to like salty foods but this is another level of saltiness. I had a hard time identifying any flavour in the broth, it was so salty. Unexpectedly the menma and meat were saltier still. The portion size for a regular was on the small size but given that it was nearly inedible I took that as a bonus
