Boar's Head Cafe - Towson

Called Boar's Head Catering with a very last minute catering order for 12 people. Megan was able to help me out and set me up, and I was able to pick up the food in an hour! This is truly the best group of people around. Thanks so much!

I'm currently in ration mode. I got my hands on a catered lunch box and it looked like a step up from the usual places like Corner Bakery or Potbelly. Got the roast beef on a pretzel roll. The pretzel roll wasn't anything special but there was a generous portion of meat and it had some good toppings like arugula and roasted red peppers. I wouldn't buy it on my own since I'm not even a fan of roast beef sandwiches. Fruit cup ok, chips, didn't even bother. It came with this thick toffee crunch cookie and I thought, toffee, not my thing. But I suddenly experienced sugar withdrawal and tried a bite of the cookie. It's a pretty big cookie and I found myself picking apart the cookie more and more. It has chunks of toffee which weren't bad and then suddenly I found myself biting down on a piece of chocolate. I didn't even realize it was dark chocolate which I hate. I guess the sweet toffee balances it out. Suddenly I realize I only have an eighth left. Cookie withdrawal and the sugar shakes have passed but mark my words, I will fall off the bandwagon and return for another cookie...

Excellent soup, salad and sandwich spot! We stopped in for a light lunch and ended up so full in the best way possible!

A little embarrassed to have just discovered this cafe. I have been taking the longest drive to the southern suburbs to get my favorite hummus. I had no idea I could grab it from this cafe which is waaay closer. I tried a rueben, a corned beef and a build-your-own ham and turkey all on marbled rye with mustard. Boars Head is a quality meat which makes a great sandwich. Each whole sandwich comes with your choice of chips or a small pasta side. I chose the Mediterranean and it was pretty good. I also got the fresh squeezed orange juice and the roasted red pepper hummus!

Holy ****, i couldn't believe this was actually a thing. I never knew there was a boars head cafe... Justwondering around downtown chicago and this popped up for breakfast. The had a good selection of foods to be made. I had a breakfast sandiwch and the fresh fruit cup. fruit was great like it should be. We did order some toast and a side of meat. Suprised they did all of this. I thought it was a unique place to visit. 5 stars just because i've always seen the brand. Never knew it was a cafe. Probably should be 3 stars really. Just awesome.
