Alice's - Towson

Staff is always excellent and the service is superb. The managment seems lacking and the food quality has seemed to suffer recently. I saw a manager rifle through the dumpster for food and bring it back into the kitchen. This absolutely disgusts me. Knowing this and hearing about the recent food poisonings in the dining hall really concerns me.

Remember when Alice's used to be good? Remember when they actually had real food? Now everything there is overpriced and such bad quality. $6.00 for a flatbread??? When I was a freshman (okay, that was only 2 years ago) it was around $5. Plus the workers at Alice's are highly apathetic and don't seem to care about the customers. I once ordered an iced coffee and there were grounds in my coffee. I asked them to make it again and there were still coffee grounds. Not to mention it was $5. Way too much for iced coffee! Even the Starbucks across from Goucher College doesn't even charge that much for iced coffee. Get real here! Alice's needs to shape up. We are all poor college students that do not deserve to pay so much for bagels and flatbread sandwiches.

This place is the most convenient place to get a snack or drink or meal on campus. It's nice thats so centrally located and is open as late as 2 am 7 days a week. Great if you are in the library, want to meet up with someone, or want a quick meal (they aren't always quick though). Wish is opened before 9 am though. The food is okay. There is a wide variety of drinks and the snack collection varies on a monthly basis with things ranging from awful to good. The service is often slow and at moments the line is way too long (30-40 minutes). The best and most popular sandwich is the caprese which is decent. For me I'd rather have a meal at Heubec or Stimson which aren't great places to eat and can be very inconsistent and tiring if you eat at them 7 days a week. But anyways alices is very convenient if you need a quick snack or drink assuming there is not a long line.

The staff sometimes close half an hour to forty minutes early. Dont count on it being open till 3. Make sure to get your food earlier.
