What a fantastic, welcoming spot! I absolutely love the neighborhood. I stopped by to grab a pizza on my way home from a surgical procedure, and it really hit the spot. Thanks for the delicious pizza! Overall, I’d rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars!

The calzone was a mess—sloppy, floppy, and just not appealing to look at. The photos speak for themselves. The cheeses were poorly blended; the mozzarella seemed to congeal rather than melt. When I cooked the calzone, it burst, causing most of the filling to spill out while I was carrying it to my car. I managed to push the ingredients back inside, but it wasn't easy. As for the garlic knots, there was absolutely no garlic flavor—none at all. If there was any garlic in there, it was well hidden, and there was also no butter to make them enjoyable. They were extremely dry. The restaurant looks like it has been around for quite some time, and I can understand how it continues to operate, considering that some customers must enjoy it enough to return. However, I can assure you that the calzone won’t win anyone over. I had hoped to try a couple of slices, but since there was no pizza displayed, I might stop by again around noon for a slice if I'm in the area. As for the calzone and garlic knots, I won't be ordering those again. It's difficult to comment on the atmosphere since I arrived just as they opened, and it was completely empty. It makes sense that it wouldn't have a lively vibe at that hour. I tried to enjoy the calzone, but after a couple of bites, I threw in the towel and decided to share it with the wildlife, as seen in the last photo.

We are from New York City and no strangers to good Italian food and can say without reservation that Raimondo's food is on a par with the best we have had. We never miss an opportunity to dine there. One favorite is the Seafood Fra Diavlo, a combination of shellfish and calamari over linguini which is generous enough to feed four people (but delicious enough to keep for yourself). Their Clams Raimondo in red sauce was also delicious. While the service is always courteous and efficient, we were particularly impressed by our server NICOLE this visit. She demonstrated a level of concern for our enjoyment that went well beyond the ordinary. Every restaurant should have such good service. Overall, Raimondo's puts out superior food at very reasonable prices making it well worth the visit if you find yourself anywhere near Roscoe. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
