Mamia's Island - Town of Ontario

Interesting place. Food was good. The pork was great. Rice and beans could have used a bit more seasoning. Chicken also needed a little pep.

Today is our 2nd time and we looked forward to it! Their food is rich yet light and flavorful. Its slightly different than Dominican but equally as good. I do highly recommend this restaurant especially to those Wayne County residents that are tired of eating outrageously expensive fast food. HAVE SOME PUERTO RICAN FOOD INSTEAD!! Id take pics for you but I didn't have a chance. Lol. Stop by, smells it in the air, then get some in your belly!!Everything is good! Don't be shy!! They are very nice people and very cheerful when we have ordered by phone for pickup . Small , medium, and large plates. We get the Large Plates because we love Latin Food of all kinds! Enjoy!

Amazing food and awesome friendly owners. The food was authentic and generous portions. I came on from Rochester just to check them out. They are worth the drive. The pork and meatballs are top notch!

It’s been too long since I have been to Puerto Rico. I cried at the selection and you know the food is good when you can smell the kitchen. So worth it. Just went today, 10/25/2023. I called my mom and my aunts to tell them about this heavenly place. Well done, keep up the great work. I’m always going to order the large.
