Thai Express Airdrie - Town of Evans

Since moving to Airdrie couple of years ago, this location has been my staple go to for Basil fried rice. The quality has deteriorated over the years. However, still kept ordering but today's fried rice was so worse. The cross iron mills food court has kept up with consistency and is so good everytime. I would rather eat it there from next time. I gave this place a 5 star rating about a year or so ago. Since they have new cooks and staff there and not sure it's new owners as well but the food is terrible there now. I have tried it a few times now to give it a chance and every time it's disgusting. This used to be one of our go to places to eat. I will visit another Thai Express location but not this one, they have ruined the dishes there now don't taste good at all. Really loved egg fried rice. Staff is very welcoming. I got my order ready quick enough also portion of veggies and egg was great. Would reccomemd this place to everyone. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Somehow portions got smaller and prices increased. Been ordering at this location semi regularly and it just isn't the same anymore. Worst part is that food tastes bland and dry. Food from Thai Express used to be great value for money, but not any more. Prices have gone up, while quantity and quality have taken a nosedive! The last tamarind rice I ordered was so salty, I could barely eat it. And oh, their rewards/loyalty program is a complete sham. They intentionally frustrate you until you give up trying to claim your rewards. They've certainly taken a nosedive to the bottom of my list of go-to places and would be completely off in the next week or so. I liked Tuk-Tuk Thai, I just hated their takeout box.
