La Roma Pizza - Town of Esopus

They shut down, leaving many people disappointed with the loss of yet another restaurant in Esopus.

The food here is consistently fantastic, and we’ve never encountered any problems, which is a great added bonus. I hope they reopen soon. Wishing them all the best!

After waiting 30 minutes for my order initially and then another 20 minutes for it to be delivered, I was shocked to find that they were trying to charge me the same price again. When I got home, I discovered that the burger was missing the bacon, although it did have the lettuce, tomato, and onion. I really do enjoy their food, but when 10 out of 10 orders come back incorrect and I’m met with attitude over their mistakes, it becomes too frustrating. Unless you have time to communicate using a Spanish-English dictionary or possess an abundance of patience, I would think twice before going here. As for kid-friendliness, it seems to be a nice place for families if you can overlook the frequent errors.

This time, I also received a pizza without toppings—completely bare. To top it all off, half of the pizza was hanging off the side of the box when I opened it. I've always tried to be polite and rarely voiced any concerns because this location has been convenient and everyone seems nice. Yet, I can't shake the feeling that after the two times I've actually mentioned anything, I've ended up on some kind of blacklist. Honestly, when the order is correct, the pizza is pretty good, but when it’s wrong, it’s a complete disaster. Unfortunately, I think I’m done ordering from here.
