Wild Turkey - Town of Conover

We came here during our one year wedding anniversary since we got engaged in the UP. Diane (I believe that was her name) took care of us and provided great service. We had their ribeye steak and it was absolutely delicious. My husband and I were very happy with our visit here and would love to come again.

This was on the A list when we are up-North, not any longer. Loved this place when they were BBQ centric. Now they have a very limited, very pricy menu.

Completely changed a good menu. No more brisket no more sandwiches, no kid menu options. Why? Why change such a good thing. It’s a bar in Conover not a fancy steak house. We had to leave because we couldn’t afford steakhouse prices. We were there in May and the food was amazing with the smoked meats and kid options. Guess that is no more. You have to know your customers in a small town this ain’t it.

Loved this place, friendly and fun staff. We visited twice over our trip. I ordered the porter house with whipped potatoes and it was incredible. I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area they do not disappoint. Jill and Gary were phenomenal and incredibly fun. Jill makes great boutique cocktails and Gary has just as many great recommendations. 10/10 would recommend

Very limited menu. Not much atmosphere. It's a dive bar with food. Everything is ala cart. The food was cooked well but ..... We had been seeing lots of good reviews. Must have been from the owners. We will not be back.
