What a wonderful experience! Petunia and I stopped in for a bite in the middle of the afternoon while on vacation in Paris...seemed like a good place to be. Step sat us down and took care of us like we were family...not to mention, some special treatment by the dapperest of dudes; le owner, as it were. We started with a mixed cheese and meat board that was absolutely fantastic. The prociutto and brie went so well together, and the pate blew my mind. Then came my burger. I'm pretty picky and this was one of the best I had on the whole trip (I may have a burger problem, but who's counting) hot and juicy, great bun that stood up well to the toppings, and a delicious bacon that perfectly complimented the sandwich. I thought I was delighted, but then Step brought us dessert. Cheesecake with a berry topping and a gingersnap crust. Who knew? The mint leaves were so incredibly matched to the cheese and ginger and berries! The service was as top notch as you can get Step, you are the bomb, my friend! Thanks so much for making our visit special, all the best from our family to yours.
