La Table du Grand Marche - Tours

One of the best restaurants in tours. my advice under the menu €30 (valid at the weekend: appetizer: gravlax kalbsal is sooo amazing we also had the foie gras, which is really good, but more classic main: the swarm with risotto is perfect, we also had the fish, but with was a bit tasteless in my mind (picted as the diet dishes, as it is too often served orange we also had the chocolate cheese cake from bailey, really good, but a bit too sugar after such a solid:

We were in the apartment directly above this restaurant and so decided to try it. we were very impressed. service was fast, friendly and efficient (what in france is quite something! and eating was spectacular. without coming into the details, each dish we ordered was presented beautifully and was extremely tasty with satisfying portions. menu choices were trendy, without predicting and there was a good selection on the menu. We would recommend this to anyone who lives in tours.

We had lucky that we find on this place too foot tours a place to lunch. we were early and were able to get a table as everyone was taken table by 1 clock and most had kept. the empty plate and dessert were well made and delicious. the waiter was fantastic, though only two for the whole restaurant. would be highly recommended and would go again. if they don't go early, reserve them!

Very welcoming to us and the dog. Drinks were rapidly provided, the wine was very nice . My lamb was beautifully cooked and my husband very much enjoyed his chicken, Staff were very busy but managed to cover all their tables. The setting inside was very comfortable and nicely lit - adding to the relaxing experience overall. Very happy to have ate here.

We loved this restaurant so much, we seriously considered going back a second night! It was recommended by the owner of the apartment we rented, and it did not disappoint. We arrived for dinner with no reservation and ended up with a table in the back, but even the back of the restaurant had lovely ambiance. The food was outstanding, and every one of our 4-person party loved their dishes (even the picky 7-year-old!). Staff was very friendly and patiently dealt with us in English. Easy to find right across from the Monster in the plaza, definitely check it out if you are in the neighborhood.
