Restaurant Les Artistes - Toulon

Fantastic little restaurant down a narrow street. The food does all the talking. I had some beautiful fish and my partner had steak tartare which was also excellent. Service was great too. About €15 for a main course.

I came here with my boyfriend when the restaurant was sort of emptyI guess it was a late lunch and people moved on to the beach, swimming.

We had a great dinner at this small and charming restaurant. Their prices were reasonable and although the menu is rather small with just meat and fish, they made arrangements to make up a vegetarian pasta. Very nice service!

Four of us had dinner at Les Artistes on a Friday evening. Sat outside in the alley on a nice evening. Our server was very patient and explained everything in detail. We had a wonderful calamari appetizer that was the best calamari I've ever had. Very tender in a simple oil, garlic, and parsley sauce. Two of us had a very good beef tartar that was massive. My wife had a very nicely prepares steak, and my friend had veal with a creamy mushroom sauce. Everything was prepared very well and our experience was tops. Best meal in France so far.
