Walker's Drive In - Tougaloo

First time there...and everything was great! Will definitely be back!!!!!

I have ate here several times. Every time I am in Jackson I stop by here. This is my first time getting lunch. The lunch special was meatloaf and it was great! Food came out super fast and service is incredible!

We found this place through a Google search when traveling through Jackson. The ambiance is really cool. I had the veal and lobster and my wife had the redfish Anna. Both meals were outstanding. Finally, the service was outstanding.

Excellent meal in a cute neighborhood. Stopping in from out of town this place was recommended by multiple people.Definitely a little fancier than the Drive In name suggests but stunningly delicious food. The quality of the ingredients was clear even in something as simple as the caesar salad: I don’t think I’ve had better parmesan cheese even on a trip to Italy. The filet was 46$, for that price I want to be served a memory to look back on; I absolutely got it.Don’t miss the fried pie. It will take you back to a southern childhood even if you didn’t have one.

I've always heard incredible things about Walkers and had been wanting to try it for awhile, and I'm SO glad I did. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is even better! The fried lobster skewers were so tasty I seriously wanted to order 5 more servings. Then, I had the wood grilled bone in special. It was 22 oz, and I didn't think I would be able to eat it all, but it was so good I couldn't resist! I ate every piece of it, and still somehow had room for dessert. I tried their fried pie of the day which was some sort of mixed berry empanada with a vanilla glaze and sweet cream ice cream SO SO GOOD! I'll definitely be back.
