Brent's Soda Fountain - Tougaloo

The breakfast bowl was excellent. My daughters loved the milk shake. As to service, it took a few minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, though the place was empty. Delaney was busy with another task and when he realized that no one had approached us, he took care of us. His service was great. As to the atmosphere, the seating area is run down, ceiling paint peeling off and the a/c vents dirty.

Interesting place to still see around. Very busy during lunch hour. Food was good and staff was friendly.

This old pharmacy was really cool. It is like stepping back in time. There is counter seating and tables. The entire place looks like an old diner. The service was great, and the waitress was super attentive. We got two burgers, which were good and were exactly what you would expect from a diner. This diner stopped seevice breakfast during the week by mid-morning, which i found unusual. If I were back in the area, I would love to stop for breakfast next time.

Place to check if you 're in Jackson and specially if you 've seen the movie The help . Beautiful 50-60s ambiance. We didn 't try the milkshakes or ice cream sodas as we were there for breakfast, but they looked amazing

We ordered for a large family. Overall, it was very good. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and it was served on buttered Texas toast with barely any meat. The onion rings were great. The cookie monster was very good. My kids loved the milkshakes. Overall, decent food for the price.
