Spiga Italian Cuisine - Totowa

I went here for Easter party of 10 people . Menu was condensed, but plenty on there with the specials. Octopus appetizer was charred , tasted like charcoal. Tripe was not edible.. 5 people ordered New York Strip , waiter asked how everyone wanted there’s done . Steaks all came out well done when everyone ordered medium rare. Three people received there meals a half hour after everyone else . Waiter blamed it on the computer, but he wrote the order down on paper . Wait staff unattentive. Had to keep asking for a refill , over and over. Women hostess in the front was rude as hell as well as the man in the front . I believe they are the owners . I guess they are doing so well , they don’t need the money .I understand it was Easter , but if you can’t handle the service , don’t accept the reservation. When you spend that kind of money , quality needs to be priority. You will NEVER see me again !

Excellent service superb food.We had an 85th birthday party and our server, Frankie, was very attentive and gracious. Deserved and received a well deserved 21% tip.The food was exquisite! The tuna special was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. The Fra Diavolo was stupendous. Clams and mussels were fresh and sauce was savory with just the right amount of a spicy kick. However, the best meal of the night was the octopus words cannot describe how great it tastes. Grilled and seasoned like I never had before. The whole family loved this place and we all enjoyed sharing our meals with each other.Lastly, we asked them to make a cake for the birthday boy. They made a death by chocolate cake that was so rich and chocolatey. If you have any sort of celebration have them make the cake for you. You will not be disappointed.If you are looking for great Italian food and great service visit Frankie at Spiga in Totowa. I can't wait to go back.

Everything was delicious. grilled otopus cooked for perfection. one of the best snuggles I had in a very long time. we had a table of 12 and there were 0 complaining. every dish was ready. my family and I will definitely return.

My fiancée and I had an incredible meal here. the waiting staff was very helpful in selecting our dishes. we will definitely go back!
