What a fabulous place, the tearoom came highly recommended by our hosts at The Little Silver House… his advice not to eat breakfast before the afternoon tea was spot on! Minestrone soup to start, Greek salad, sandwiches, sausage rolls and piles of cakes. This was our only meal of the day My advice is to call several days before to book ahead- we only just managed to get in on our last day in Devon

Highly recommend. Lovely and friendly. We had the whole tea room to ourselves during a quieter period. The cream teas were exactly what we came for. Very tranquil.

During our trip to Devon, we were craving a traditional cream tea and were delighted to find the real deal at this lovely restaurant. The scones were incredibly light and delicious, and the tea, cream, and jam were all excellent quality. The service was top-notch, and the staff made us and our dogs feel very welcome. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious cream tea experience.

The food was excellent, we had fish board sharer, ploughman's, pasty, and cream teas. Amazing scones. Will definitely go sgain

Beautiful view of country-side from outdoor sitting area with lots of entertainment for all ages, especially young children. The food was excellent and in good proportion with a large variety: including, sea food, salads and platters to share. The facilities were great with lots of thought and care put into the place. The staff and area was very accommodating, asking if anything was needed or wanted, blankets were also provided on the wet occasion we went on when enjoying the outside area. Would definitely go back and recommend to family and friends.
