Great historic hotels and location. Room 1 was large and quiet though in s light sleeper and could hear the guest above walk around. There is plenty of choice for breakfast and i recommend tracks 3 but the front windows looking out on the street. The restaurant in the pub was really good value. I had lobster with chips and salsa for £25 and i was full. I'm a big eater so that's saying something. Apart from this staying at the hotel allows you to explore Clovelly after the tourists have gone to get a feel of the real Clovelly. I recall a sweet girl and her friend trekking me to be careful with strong a fluffy black cat as it could scratch. Then heading down towards the harbour watching the teenagers jumping off the harbour wall. I look forward to staying again. Walkability: The streets are cobbled. I would recommend staying at the red lion pub if you are wheelchair bound or walking issues as you can catch a taxi from the public car park to the red lion pub at the harbour front Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value
