It was more expensive that many other similar places. However, my son had the best plate of penne with pesto he's had (he gets that everywhere... or bigoli with duck sauce, lol). Tons of pesto on the pasta; it looked wonderful. I had gnocchi with zucchini and shrimp, which was pretty good, but not my favorite gnocchi I've had here by far. Nice outside eating area.
Grilled Branzino was perfectly cooked and the restaurant is nice. However, they seem to have some kind of ventilation problem this evening. Very smokey upstairs from the grill downstairs to the point of folks wanting to be reseated. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the food.
After a number of dinners with excellent local pasta and beef dishes during our four day stay in Vicenza, my wife and I were up for some seafood dining. We found a perfect place at ristorante Enzo e Valentina in Torri di Quartesolo. As starter we both took the misto gratinato, a nice, elegant seafood dish, but we were not yet convinced that we found the perfect place for seafood dining. This however happened with the main dish: my wife still talks one month later about the tuna she ordered (tagliata di tonno al sesamo). She never ate such a fresh, delicious piece of tuna. This plate alone is worth the drive from Vicenza. I took a gorgeous orata ai ferri. Two great, breathtaking seafood dishes. Together with two glasses of great Scaia white wine, a bottle of water and a tea, we paid € 91. Given the quality served, perfectly OK for me. The restaurant offers a nice parking place at the back of the house. If you're looking for some great seafood dining, don't hesitate to visit this place. Excellent address.
The place is very nice and elegant. It has delicious menu, and the service is really good. Everyone smiles and it makes you feel comfortable in the place. I totally recommend it!
My hotel recommended Enzo E Valentina and I was not disappointed. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed into the restaurant and really enjoyed the offerings on the menu. I then asked if they could alter one of their dishes to make it arrabiata (spicy) and they said it wouldn 't be a problem. They brought me out a complimentary seafood dish as a starter and it was very tasty. My main course was filled with mussels, clams and other fish. The meal was served promptly and hot everything was served exactly as I had hoped. I would highly recommend this restaurant while you in Vicenza.
