Capitol Reef Inn Cafe - Torrey

Wow! What amazing people. Kip and Sarah were incredible to my sister and I. There was a mistake with our reservation so they literally bent over backwards for us. They set us up in another place at no charge! Plus they cooked us a huge incredible meal at no charge. With beverages and all. They were so kind. We totally enjoyed visiting with both of them! The place is adorable and the food is incredible. Kip is truly an amazing chef. What wonderful people and a wonderful place! Highly highly recommend! We will be back !!!

We stayed here while hiking, so having dinner at the same location just made sense. We were a bit hesitant because of some of the reviews, but we enjoyed our meal! There was a bit of a wait to get seated, but that's because Cherie was working so hard she was seating people, taking orders, clearing tables, etc. Even with doing all of that, she was kind and attentive as our server. We don't mind the wait, especially when we saw how much she was doing! Our meal was tasty, and not having to leave the hotel property to eat was wonderful after a long day of hiking.

There are not many places for a decent breakfast in Torrey, Utah. Especially a place opened early and on Mondays. It was a great place to fill up before our drive in Capital Reef National Park.My friend and I ordered the two egg breakfast but I had mine with bacon and she ordered smoked salmon. We really enjoyed our breakfasts as they were very tasty and hearty. The café also offered different coffee drinks like espresso and cappuccinos which were a great addition to our breakfasts.The service was great, the atmosphere comfortable and the food delicious. You really cannot ask for anything more while on a road trip!

It was not good.The waitress she was very polite, but never came back to tell our coffee, she didn't bring condiments, and the omelets were cold. And the potatoes were re-cooked not fresh. The toast was blackened and cold. I will not return.

There's not a lot of places in Torry to grab a bite to eat. The small place specializes in breakfast and lunch sandwiches and other treats. It's a good go to place if you're around I would suggest going early because it's small and your selection diminishes as a day waxes is on.
