Przekaż informację zwrotnąTime: Mid-May 2022 Place: This is one of the dining reviews from my vacation at Emporio Resort in Cancun. I also left a review of my stay at the resort overall if anyone is interested! This is one of the dining options available to guests at Emporio. I did the all-inclusive package, so I have no insight on the individual pricing. This is a restaurant inside the Emporio Resort that is open for lunch (buffet) and dinner (a la carte). I went here for dinner on two nights. The interior of the place is really pretty and relaxing. There are floor to ceiling windows on one side of the restaurant and it had an overall theme of greenery and beige tones. It was a very pretty place to eat in! Service here was slower than at the other restaurants of this resort. COVID Precautions: patrons and staff were required to wear masks. Food: We only got starter bread one of the two nights we ate there. The bread was soft and warm, and the butter made it all the better! Crab soup: I don't remember the actual menu name of this. This was my least favorite item. It was more of a broth than soup and it was just salty rather than having any rich flavor. The crab itself looked nice, but there was no crab meat to eat. The carrots were good, but that's about it. Ceviche: This dish was the same as the one from the Cantina, but the presentation was better. Ceviche from both places were very good! The fish was partially cooked, which is preferred anyways since raw food sounds a little risky while in Cancun. The ceviche is the perfect level of sour to make it taste fresh with the veggies. Steak: I ordered medium rare for both times. The taste was amazing and the steak was soft and juicy. I'd recommend getting it a little more well done because my stomach was kind of upset after the second time I ate there. They have a nice, saucy broth from the steak to color the mashed potatoes. The fried onions were also pretty yummy, but nothing spectacular. This and salmon were my favorite dishes (I got these both nights haha). Salmon: Delicious! The fish was so fresh and very quality, as it split without a fuss and naturally at the muscle fissures. The coloring was a nice, light pink. The taste was also amazing! Perfectly salted and not overpowered by the green sauce. The green sauce was slightly creamy and nutty, and paired so well with the salmon and veggies. The veggies had a fun presentation, but they were just steamed and grilled normally so it was nothing mind-blowing. Overall, the food here is really good and it made me wish I had a larger appetite so I could eat at both the buffet and here! This place satisfied my craving for a good steak! I highly recommend trying this place out at least once during your stay here. Tip: a group of servers sing and bring out a special slice of cake for you if it is your birthday!
Conclusion: Wonderful food and great service. I took my girlfriend here for her 21st birthday and put in a special request to make it special for her. The owner gave us the best spot in the house overlooking the water and perfect sunset. Aside from a wonderful setup, the food was delicious and very fairly priced. The shrimp wrapped in bacon with cheese is a must try and the steak is second to none. Had my stay in Cancun been a little longer, I definitely would have gone here again. 5/5
Meanwhile, have another beer What would we do without all these jerks anyway? Besides, all our friends are here Down at the Sunset Grill (Sunset Grill -Don Henley) Sunset Grill is a very small snack bar located on the patio near the hotel 's main pool. It 's more or less self service, they have some prepackaged wraps and sandwiches lined up for you to grab, or you can go down a cafeteria line, scoop up a roll, a burger, a hot dog, fried chicken, or a veggie patty, nacho chips, then trick them out with lettuce, tomato, onion, pico, guacamole, and some kick-ass hot marinated peppers. The menu is very kid friendly, so it definitely has a niche if you are here with the kiddies.
