If you ask for a vegan option they eon't rip you off by just omitting animal product, they'll tend to actually supplement the meal with extra vegan goodies. Good spot for a lazy Sunday brunch.
A small little place with a great atmosphere. I am one of those people who checks out the menu online before heading into the actual place. Just to make it easier for myself and for the staff when it comes to ordering. <br/ <br/ The online menu looked amazing and I had my eyes on the Smash Smash Smash... Which describes as bashed avocado on organic rye with free range poached eggs, hummus, haloumi and lime finished with chili oil. Sounds great! As we arrived at the venue, the menu title for each dish were the same but there were changes to a few ingredients for a couple of the dishes. Which is fine, I understand that sometimes there are changes to the menu due availability and cost. <br/ <br/ There was no haloumi, no chili oil. The rye bread was replaced by sourdough while the hummus was replaced by crunch chickpeas and a sprinkle of dukkah for the same price. The mushroom sitting on the plate cost me $3. The most expensive mushroom I have ever consumed. <br/ <br/ Overall the meal was delicious, a nice place to sit and have a chat.
I had the best coffee ever in Torrensville at this restaurant. The 5 senses Brazil bean was absolutely heavenly! They offer some fantastic options for GF/vegan treats. However, I thought the menu could use more options for salads and non-bread items. The service and staff were friendly. I will definitely be returning for the coffee!
This charming brunch spot on Henley Beach Road has friendly and helpful staff. The coffee is excellent and the food is delicious! I will definitely return.
Hello foodies! I have been hearing great things about Pixie and the Hawk and finally decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan and gluten-free options on the menu. The Vietnamese broth with salt and pepper tofu, vermicelli noodles, peanuts, fried shallots, and bok choy stood out to me. Despite my initial skepticism about yet another broth dish, I was blown away by the flavors and textures. The restaurant was busy, which is always a good sign in my book.
