Jerez - Torremolinos

Great tapas very good customer service and good drinks we came back 4 times in a week the server was like a whirlwind rushing round but a very happy one

Stopped off for a coffee, always a coffee for me ! With the little biscuit. Felt a little peckish so ordered a slow cooked pork in a tomato sauce tapas, just to get me to dinner. The coffee was good but the pork dish was delicious. The pork was tender as you like and the sauce really made the little plate of goodness tickle the taste buds. I have to use the teaspoon from my coffee to scoop up all the sauce. Well worth the 2.90€. Will be returning before the end of my holiday. The waiter was smiley and attentive but not overly so.

The service was extremely poor and delivered by a waiter who was both surly and unhelpful. The food was substandard and my husband’s steak was so tough as to be completely inedible. Many of the tapas were unavailable. An experience we wouldn’t wish to repeat.

I have been coming to Torremolinos for 40 years on a regular basis. Bar Jerez is one of my haunts. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. It does get busy at certain times, yes of course. But, if see lots of locals there..... You know its good
