Seorabeol - Torrance

Torrance Food Crawl #404 Seorabeol K-Food is one of three restaurants in the H Mart food court. The menu is heavily Korean in content. Every Korean restaurant seems to have some variation of Bibimbap, starting with rice, protein, and vegetables. Seorabeol is no different. The bibimbap looked fresh, complete with a fried egg, and tastes great. Included on the side are white rice, miso soup, kimchi, potato salad, and sweet black beans. (5/5) The Seafood Soon Tofu came out bubbling away because of the heat, so I had to start carefully to avoid getting burned. There was a lot of tofu. The seafood seemed on the sparse side with one complete shrimp and very small pieces of miscellaneous seafood. I wanted it to have more of a seafood flavor, and there was some, but not as much as I expected. (4/5) The Stir-Fried Pork was good. Lots of pork and lots of vegetables. (4/5) The Stir-Fried Squid was similar, however, the squid was on the chewy side (overcooked perhaps). Good, but it took a lot of chewing. (4/5) The Pork Meat Tonkatsu was one of the better items I've had. Crispy exterior, soft cooked interior. A couple of dipping sauces come with the dish if you want to dip the pork. (5/5) You enter the H Mart food court from the east side of the market. If you want to enter the market, that entrance is on the south side of the market.

Kimbap is fantastic! Made fresh daily and ingredients are quality ingredients! Had these catered for a party and they were a success.

DELICIOUS! Great food, amazing service, kind staff, and the comfortable atmosphere of a large food court. I am so thankful this place opened up. It is very convenient whether I am grocery shopping, pastry shopping, or meeting people to hang out. This is a great location to gather. The staff gives abundant food. There is rice with most of the meals, side dishes, sauces, and whatever you need. The people are generous and very kind. I also love the Korean sushi options they have! Tuna is my favorite. They are $10.49 total which is more affordable than the meals and still filling. Check this place out! It's the best one in the food court, hands down.

Just stopped by because I heard good things in the neighborhood. Right inside the H Mart, spacious and cool. We ordered California rolls, beef rib soup, stir fried pork, and stir fried squid. Everything we had was very tasty and came in very Generous portions. Great spot for lunch.
