We were looking for something light but also easy to bring to the beach, and kimbap was the perfect thing! They have all types of kimbap on the menu but you can't go wrong with classic beef. I was wondering why it seemed so expensive since normally I can get it for half the price at home, but when our order came out I noticed it's actually more like two full rolls worth so I'm glad we only got one. I love that they put radish on the side as well since that's my favorite part. Each roll is stuffed with ingredients and they're rolled tightly. I think I was hoping more for bulgogi beef, something thinly sliced but this was more like ground beef cut. But regardless it was still a tasty kimbap and I only wish I lived closer so I could try the rest of their kimbap menu!
Food is always delicious. And service is always kind!Kimbap, kimchi fried rice, and bibimbap are my go to!!
I didn't eat kimbap there. But their donnkatsu (pork cutlet) dish was delicious!Food: 5/5
For those fans of bun sik type of Korean food (i.e. street food) this is the place to go in the South Bay. Their specialty (duh) is kimbap and they offer a large variety that are done very well. Usually order the beef or the fish cake. But always a good balance of ingredients and rice. Have had most things on their menu... fish cake soup (portion is huge), chewy noodles (cholmyun), kimchee fried rice, duk bok ki (spicy rice cakes)... all were great. Be sure to add egg, ramen and other goodies when you order the duk bok ki. Service is very fast and friendly. Place is not terribly big but ample parking since it 's located in strip mall that has a Del Taco, Yoshinoya and a bunch of other small restaurants, food joints and stores.
