The Bear - Torquay

The restaurant offers delicious dishes made with Canadian-themed ingredients. The smoked brisket sauce was particularly outstanding, with a beautiful smoky flavor and tender meat that practically melted in your mouth. Additionally, they offer excellent options as supplements for the brisket ribs, such as salads and corn chips, all of which are of exceptional quality. Overall, the meals are hearty and satisfying.

We have returned to the restaurant and have not been disappointed. eating is always good and cheap and the staff is always friendly, although with many customers to handle - short staff due to the influence of covid. will definitely be back!

We visited hervey bay and were very excited to feed in the bear. unfortunately the menu was like a fast food cafe. we had expectations for a menu with creativity behind it.

I always enjoy dining at The Bear - the food is fantastic and the atmosphere is great.

Really nice meals, massive serves.. first time had poutine and was very impressed. Nice atmosphere and bar area.
