Squires Loft - Torquay

Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent.We all commented that the steaks were definitely up there with the best we had ever had in our combined 252 years...Yes we are over 60!The meal sizes are really good and the quality impeccable...My Rib Eye was to die for!The waiting staff were excellent and there are two extensive wine lists.Highly recommended.

We rang Squires Loft as a last minute decision to go out to eat. We were told they were booked out. But if could wait till 8pm there would be a table, or if we came down now we would be accommodated. We were so impressed by the service and food. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious.Thank you Squires Loft

Here's a restaurant where you can have a bit different kind of dining experience if you like. Book a table near the open kitchen, so you can spend the evening watching cooks hustling and bustling. The aisle between the tables and the kitchen counter is a bit heavily trafficked but that just adds to the atmosphere.The server was friendly, quite knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make suggestions based on some dietary restrictions that we had.I wont comment the food other than it was tasty, and we liked especially the bread that was brought for us while waiting for the mains.

Ideal place to take steak lovers for business or pleasure. The owners & team are nothing but friendly and gracious.If you are not into a big lump of meat you need to get creative with the sides which is achievable but their salad is a disaster iceberg and not much else shoved in a bowl. But their specialty steak is amazing.

A place that is both original and very friendly. Superb decor. The meat was very good. Welcoming and very friendly staff. A very good address to recommend. Perfect on the road to the Great Ocean Roda.
