Gave this restaurant a chance despite its 3.4 rating and figured the view would be nice. Does not value customer requests on a personal special occasion. Told to come back the following week for them to accommodate the request. Came February 15th which is not even Valentine’s Day anymore but they had a Valentine’s menu which we understood. Our anniversary date is very important and requested for a desert with a written “Happy Anniversary” to make my partner’s day more special. I was not asking for it to be free, I do not care if I had to pay more than the value. we did not appreciate the sarcasm one of the workers had responded to us. “If you want a bird, we’ll get you a bird. But come next week”. Next week is no longer our anniversary. There is a reason why our reservation was specifically on 15th. If we knew this will not be accommodated, we would have chosen a different restaurant who valued customers better.

This place is absolutely incredible. The view is amazing (definitely worth it to ask for a window seat! , and the food is even better.

Underwhelming. Winterlicious reservation. Selected Tiramisu for dessert and was given a tiny sampler plate of three desserts.

We were eating here on my partners ‘ birthday which I indicated in the reservation. We also ordered from the Winterlicious menu. The appetizers were ok but the real problem was when the entrees came. I ordered the steak and shrimp with vegetables. The meat and shrimp were very good, however the vegetables were undercooked, hard and not enjoyable. My partner ordered the tuna steak and the server indicated it would be served rare. When the order came, the tuna was cooked almost fully through and with the majority of the fish being white. When pointed out to the server, she agreed and asked if we wanted something else. We said no the tuna steak but cooked rare as expected. The second dish came out and although it was slightly better, it was very far from being rare and was not at all what was expected. The vegetables with this order were also extremely undercooked to the point that the Brussels sprouts were inedible and debatably raw. In hindsight by the servers reaction we may not have been the first person to react this way. Hopefully others ordering the tuna steak had a better experience. When dessert came it was also good. However there was not mention of the birthday or anything special done which is something that would even be expected at a family restaurant. We were surprised when the bill came and no mention was made in regards to the meal and nothing was comped. Ironically, ahead of the meal we were excited and even considering doing the Valentines Day special. But after the experience we had we will not be recommending the restaurant to anyone. Especially given the price at its current value.
