The Irv Gastro Pub - Toronto

A small pub with an interesting menu. All items on the menu come with a twist in terms of taste. I wouldn't say OMG but definitely tasty and worth going. You won't be disappointed plus a good selection of beer.

We were just wandering about and getting hungry and found this little corner pub. A family was coming out and we asked what they thought of the meal and the woman said for the price it 's quite good . We took a chance. Beer on Saturday night was 5.00 so we had the house lager. Not a beer connoisseur, we quite enjoyed it not too strong or over powering, very flavorful. I had the curried lamb burger, my partner had a bacon cheese burger with a fried egg (extra) and while I had the regular fries my partner ordered the sweet potato fries which were outstanding. Both burgers were great. The service was friendly and speedy and we were treated well. Not too noisy. It is a great neighborhood restaurant for casual dining.

My go to spot in cabbagetown. Service is 10/10, food is 10/10. I've never had a meal from this place that I would rate lower than a 10. Family run restaurant where you feel like part of the family. Would highly recommend.

The Irv is one of my favourite spots in Cabbagetown. Everyone is always friendly, the food is amazing and they always have a solid lineup of local Ontario craft beers. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for a bite to eat and or a pint while in Cabbagetown. Keep it up!

Very pleasant location,. We sat out on a lovely sunny afternoon. We ate the fish and chips the fish was fabulous
