I would've even been satisfied with a Candle ontop of a cookie. Not a single staff member paid her any mind.Ontop of that all of food was horrible tasting and poor quality. Wouldn't recommend this location at all.
I had the pleasure of visiting Hogtown Vegan and let me just say, the Reuben sandwich is a true masterpiece. The traditional sauerkraut was replaced with a tangy, homemade sauerkraut made from fermented cabbage that was bursting with flavor. It added a refreshing crunch to every bite. The server was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. If you're a vegan food enthusiast or just someone looking to explore the vast world of plant-based cuisine, I wholeheartedly recommend Hogtown Vegan. Prepare to be amazed by their Vegan Reuben sandwich and the exceptional flavors that await you. Your taste buds will thank you, and you'll leave with a newfound appreciation for the creativity and innovation of vegan cuisine. Trust me, it's an experience you won't want to miss!
We grabbed Sunday brunch and really enjoyed the vibe. The **** Caesar (with veg bacon) was a good starter and enjoyed their drip coffee. They have a narrow menu for brunch, so most of the family got Eggz Benny, which was tasty. I had French Toast Sliders, which I think were a good idea, but just too greasy for my tastes. I would go back for sure.
Disappointed for the quality of some of my items. Paid 38 dollars for a order of 10 wings, fries and the mac n' cheese. The wings are tasty even though they are a bit strong taste of cumin. The mac n' cheese is the one that had the best taste and the cheese was good. The fries where a huge disappointment, they where mostly burnt looking more brown and black than anything, and not well seasoned.Overall I'm just sad I spent so much money for bad quality :
I love some things about this place. Their fish and chips are so good. I've had really good burgers (perfect hangover food). I loved the collard greens so much before they starting adding bacon bits to them. The chicken and waffles are pretty good…but I can't order anything with cheese here because it's Daiya and I really don't like it. Some of the sandwiches have also been a miss because of leathery seitan. The overall vibe is greasy spoon diner. It's greasy comfort food and I know so many people are into that. I would just love to see the menu evolve from the way it was years ago (including a more modern cheese alternative).
