The Boiler House - Toronto

El Cartin was lively and vibrant. The menu was full of exciting options, but unfortunately the food didn't quite live up to expectations. It's a great spot to meet up with friends, with drinks that never stopped coming. The pastor tacos were a standout, but my sea bass was a little too dry and overly salty. Despite that, I still had a good time overall. It's a fun place to visit.

My sister-in-law gave us a gift certificate for this restaurant as a Christmas present because she knew we would be on vacation here this summer. It turned out to be an excellent choice! El Catrin is located in a beautiful building in the artsy Distillery District. It's just a short Uber drive from downtown but definitely worth the visit. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with colorful walls and a creative use of the historic structure. However, none of that would matter if the food and drinks weren't up to par. Luckily, they were exceptional! The drinks, including the margarita flight, were delicious. We all ordered tacos and they were amazing. The homemade guacamole at the table was also fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The service was excellent as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Delicious and recommended! The restaurant has a spacious patio with vibrant decorations and a lively atmosphere. The service was top-notch, with Michelle being friendly and helpful in providing menu suggestions. The waitress, whose name we didn't catch, was also excellent. The street corn appetizer was a hit, though the portion size was rather small, served in shot glasses which made it a bit tricky to eat without spilling. While my fish tacos were tasty, the birria tacos ordered by my friends looked even more mouthwatering. The restaurant offers a great selection of cocktails and beer, though the wine options were just average. Overall, a great dining experience!

Great food with an excellent outdoor patio. Food was amazing and I can’t say enough about the service we received from Mason. Polite, knowledgeable, and fast. They’re when you need him and always ready to top off your glass.
