Przekaż informację zwrotnąTerroni is arguably the best Italian restaurant in Toronto that I have visited. It has quickly become one of my top picks for Italian cuisine.
My friend and I went to Terroni for dinner last night. We had a reservation for 7:30pm.
The best dish I have tried at Terroni. The combination of flavors was outstanding and the crust was perfectly cooked. I will definitely be going back for more of their smoked salmon pizza. The service was also excellent, making for a great overall dining experience. Highly recommended!
Taking a friend to lunch, I had suggested 3 outdoor patios since it was a lovely summer day. Of The Rosedale Diner, Allen's on the Danforth and Terroni on Yonge (near the 5 thieves!), she chose the latter. Indifferent reception on the ground floor (probably the same person my friend spoke to when she tried to make a reservation in the shade on the patio) but it was suggested we go up and see if there was a table, in the shade. Up 2 or 3 flights, we were shown to an acceptable table, near the door where wait staff emerged with food. Service was very good and so was the food. It was packed with people and noisy! I had a panini, veal and caramelized onions, served with a small antipasto salad. Excellent!
On a nice summer's evening, the roof top has a real buzz to it. People seem to eat early in Toronto so post-8pm on a week night and the roof top is basically empty. Expensive for what it was as the food was average quality but I think you go for the ambiance.
