They are mostly focused on Belgian, and I can easily say that their import draft choices are wider than any place in Toronto. But this is again limited to what LCBO offers every season. The beer menu should be updated soon, because it's not a nice impression when you get a negative answer for a beer you were craving for. We shared a Bavarian Sausage platter with 3 different sausage varieties. The sausages were dry and almost average, hard to call them Bavarian. The place is vast, it can accommodate parties and large groups. No Wifi available though. 3.3/5
Just down McCaul Street from the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Sin and Redemption Pub is your best bet for a decent meal, reasonably priced, served cheerfully and with an epic beer selection (the wine list is just the basics). We always go the the Sin and Redemption pub after we've been to the art gallery. When we go there: we are always greeted cheerfully and seated right away, our attentive server tells us the specials promptly and gets our drink order right away. The menu features pub fare, all very competently done, and the daily pasta special - usually a home-made ravioli - is always worth a try. On our last visit, we had the fish and chips the salmon lunch time special. Both were very good. And lunch was less than fifty dollars, with drinks and tip. Recommended.
Four of us came in for a late lunch when the place was half empty.Three of us ordered drinks and food but one of us who could not eat there. She asked an espresso but apparently they do not offer any special coffee. When she brought a cup of coffee from the organic cafe next door the guest was asked to leave.Terrible attitude!
Great selection of Belgium ales! I enjoyed three. Good food also. Being a vegetarian I ordered the ravioli. Respectable. I will be back
First time at this pub neat the Art Gallery of Ontario. Loved the imported beer choices, and the wide range of pub food; schnitzel and sausages were especially good; almost too much to finish. Come hungry!
