Attentive Service. Great Food. Nice Vibe. I Recommend the Fish Sandwich. Yummy. Tried the onion rings. Go early to avoid the crowds.
As a proud northern-Englander (Yorkshireman no less), I regard myself as a connoisseur of fish and chips (we all do). All I can say is outstanding quality. Possibly the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Highly recommended
There’s nothing better than good fish and chips. And I find the quality of fish and chips restaurants in Toronto can be a bit all over the place. For every good place you find, there’s a bad place. Sea Witch Fish and Chips, I’m happy...to say, is not only a good restaurant—it’s fantastic. Sea Witch was recommended in an article in the Globe and Mail back in 2014 and since then it’s been on my list. I finally got there today and wasn’t disappointed. Wonderful service. Probably the friendliest service I’ve had in years. Really great, homey atmosphere. The fish was amazing—perfectly cooked (I had the haddock) and the fries were among the best fries I’ve had in my life. Huge portions. Half the fries came home with me. I’m so glad I finally dropped by Sea Witch. I look forward to my next visit (I’ll definitely have to try the chowder that everyone raves about). Highly recommended!
My friends and I stopped off here for dinner. We were lucky to get a table because there is limited seating; most people get their meals as take-out. We got an order of onion rings for the table, and we each ordered a plate of...haddock and chips. I've had fish and chip meals all over the world and this was one of the most outstanding, best fish and chips I have ever had. Hands down. Sizzling, rich golden crunchy batter, a good sized portion of fish, a huge portion of lovely, crispy chips, and some very good, homemade coleslaw on the side. Highly, *highly*, recommended.
