My bf was out of town and managed to make it back for Valentines day. He had gotten us movie tickets and we wanted some dinner before. We had planned on going elsewhere but Scaccia smelled so good we took a chance. No issue getting in, waiter was attentive and the food was great. It was served so fresh and hot. No complaint and would go back again. On a side note I have had a snack from here before which was also great.
Great food & service! A reliable spot for well prepared Italian food with an extensive menu. Kayla, our server was on the ball & appeared with charming service just at the right times throughout the meal. Highly recommended.
One of the staff at our hotel recommended this restaurant and she wasn't wrong about it! We ordered the meat lasagna and it was delicious. The portion was huge, enough for my husband and I to split. We also has the small Caesar salad and shared. It was fresh and tasty with a creamy dressing. It was very conveniently located to our hotel on Bloor Street and the movie theater we chose to go to which was in the building. Our server was Juan and he was very friendly, courteous, and efficient. Would highly recommend the lasagna!
Started out with the Meatball Marinara...excellent (though wish there were 2 meatballs for sharing)...Ceasar Salad was quite good, fresh, some garlic (though I would have liked a little more)...hubby had the Cannelloni, it was excellent and the perfect portion...I had the Siciliana penne....it was delicious!...this is a dish that contains sliced hot sausage and it was hot....I loved it!. Good Portion. Our Server Ali was amazing..very eager to please......I asked for some more sauce as I did find my Penne a little dry initially and no probs, I was given a small bowl of sauce...fresh grated parmesan cheese was also a nice touch...our 2nd meal there and will return again when in that area of Toronto (as we live out of town)
