Pizzeria Via Mercanti - Toronto

Delicious food with a very relaxing atmosphere! This classic Italian restaurant is conveniently situated in the downtown core, and offers a wide menu with a good variety of pizzas, pastas and appetizers. The service here is super friendly and helpful, and the prices are great for the dishes and portion sizes. This is a great spot for both smaller groups, and larger meals with friends and family.

I stopped by for lunch during Summerlicious and had the option to enter through the front door or the patio. Since the weather was pleasant, we chose to sit outside on the patio. The servers were friendly and attentive. The breaded mozzarella balls were delicious, but the pizza seemed a bit undercooked. The cotoletta di vitella was tasty and I particularly enjoyed the tartufo dessert.

Good pizza in downtown Toronto. Neapolitan restaurant cozy but accomodating we had no reservations and we where seated during there busy lunch. Mozerella balls where very good and pizza was good. I got stuffed crust which had salami and goat cheese nice spice and something different. Worth a try. Good job

Our order: • Pizza Bambino Fior di latte, pfefferoni French Fries Your Pepperoni is really good and I am not a paprika girl. • Mozzareline Fritte go for this cheese train. • Via Mercanti Pizza epic two layers of pizza. Get me my personal Fave! • Tiramisu in all seriousness the best Tiramisu I had in a while. My super recommended menu item. • Aperol spray summer vibes along! • Pasta al Pomodoro Classic • Caprese salad my type of salad Super recomended!

The pizza here is amazing. I ordered a Margherita pizza, although not even fresh basil, so I replaced with Arugula. You usually have to ask for bread which is good because your bread is always fresh and tastes great. It also comes with vinegar and olive oil, a very delicious combo. I'm here three times and the pizza is probably the best I've eaten anywhere. The portions are large and the ingredients are fresh.
