We ordered food and drinks at the same time, drinks arrived promptly however we were left waiting for food for two hours. We noticed other tables that arrived after us were being served, so we asked if they could check for us, but the server told me she could only take orders for drinks. After asking someone else again, they said the food would be another 15 minutes. By then it was 10pm, and we had arrived at 8pm for our reservation. We paid for our drinks and left, and then realized we'd still been charged for some of the food. I understand it was a busy Saturday night, but I'm very disappointed with how the situation was handled. I also did send an email with this issue before posting it publicly but I'm yet to receive a response.
We've been here once before in 2019 and I remembered it being amazing, so went again last night . We reached after 9:15 pm and they close by 10 . We got a table soon and ordered the homemade sausage pizza, diavola and a mini cheese pizza . Everything was just ok this time .One thing I do need to mention though is that Sara was amazing and had a smile on her face the entire time . It was after 10 by the time we were done eating and she wasnt trying to get out of the door fast or anything and wanted to know if we'd like to order dessert too . I liked the service better than the food this time !
We were recommended this place from Ralph from the Marriott. We had the lunch special. It included a salad: I would recommend the arugula salad with pears and nuts. It was delicious: lightly dressed. Price was right 19 Canadian . I was not crazy about the pizza but I am from NJ where you get excellent pizza. Bella our server was wonderful! Friendly and efficient: we really enjoyed having her as our server. We decided to take desserts to go.
I think they used to be number one but I guess that would be going back maybe three years ago but since then so many new pizza places popped up like pizza maker and descendant Detroit style pizza so many others and I think when they started doing the frozen pizza for Covid I think that’s when things started to go downhill for them. Hopefully they will survive but going to be very difficult unless they start changing their dough and the tomato sauce
(Delivery) I’ve eaten at this restaurant before and was satisfied. Recent experience, via delivery, was very disappointing. Pizza was a piece of undercooked, soggy dough with a few scattered toppings. I essentially had to bake it myself to make it palatable. Will not repeat experience. Have given a 3/5 rating because dessert was good.
