I finally had time to drop by for a visit. I finally had time to drop by for a visit. The place was decorated nicely with some fine details and art on their walls. . Yogurt, cucumber garlic spread with pita bread. The pita came out hot, fresh sitting underneath a small garnish salad. There were two very big, generous dallops of greek yogurt. We saved some to dip with our fries.
Great Food and Service .The quality of the food was amazing especially when taking into consideration their prices. The waiter was polite and accommodating !
Service here is very good, but the fried calamari was below average. Chewy and heavy on the breading. I did have a taste of my companion's Moussaka and it was very good, also they use an excellent olive oil so I may give this place another try sometime.
Great Quality and Value. With my last experience at this restaurant I had poor customer service (this past Friday) but this is a rare occasion. Normally the customer service is excellent and the staff does everything to make you feel like family. This is part of the reason why I have been coming back the last two years. I have to really like a place in order for me to return over and over again. The staff that was there this past Friday wasn't the staff I normally have when I go so this is perhaps why I had an issue.<br/ <br/ The portions are large, you get a lot of value for your dollar and will most likely leave with left overs. If there is anything wrong with your order, they happily correct the issue but I've only had 1 time where they gave me the wrong order. This was during the greek festival when the restaurant was at capacity so in my opinion that can be expected.<br/ <br/ On the weekends they occasionally have traditional Greek entertainment which is nice and adds to the ambiance. Great job guys!
I have been to Megas before but not for a long time. Nothing has changed, the food, decor and service all the same. I ordered the Saganaki, the flaming cheese which i think everyone ordered. Its so good. I should have asked for pita instead of eating it with the table bread. I also got the chicken souvlaki pita with side salad. Nothing fancy just classic Greek food. There are cheaper places but this place is consistent and was recommended by one of my Greek friends.
