Matisse Restaurant and Bar - Toronto

I was at the Marriott hotel for a seminar and stopped in to the restaurant for lunch. The food was very well plated and equally as delicious. I had the steak and wild mushrooms with mixed green salad as the side. I will probably even consider ordering the same item if I return, even though I’d be tempted to try many other choices based on how good mine was. Updated decor and friendly service.

We had an awesome breakfast with friendly server .Love the eggs Benedict and fluffy Blueberry Pancakes. Highly recommended!

Nice variety of food. The salmon was excellent...nicely cooked, as medium rare. The only bad aspect was the Quinoia looked like it had been cooking for a day...far too water logged. The service was excellent. Good if you want to go and have a business meeting...quiet enough so you can talk.

Have walked by the Marriott on Bloor (just east of Yonge and the Bay store) millions of times and never even knew about Matisse Restaurant inside. Well-located with tasty dishes on the menu and good service. Great spot if you don't like a loud, crowded restaurant with your neighbours able to hear your conversation. Somewhat of a formal style but servers are super friendly and food is great.

Stayed at the Marriott so had breakfast and dinner here. Good food, service and ambience. Rashid was exceptional in looking after us. keep it up
