Last night, I dined at the bar and savored a scrumptious wood-fired prosciutto funghi pizza and arugula salad. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the Italian cuisine was authentic (especially since owner Eleanor hails from Italy). This place is my favorite hidden gem in the King Street East neighborhood.
Overall not bad but expected more after having been recommended by a friend. I had the prosciutto and funghi pizza (great crust, sauce ok, mushrooms tasted good, but the ham was lacking bland and dry unfortunately). My companion had the risotto and filet. The risotto was a negative suprise for an Italian restaurant: lacking butter, too watery and didn't really look or taste like risotto. The beef was good though.Staff was great!
Unbelievably good! The pasta was fresh and cooked to perfection, and the portions were filling but not wasteful. My partner had a pasta dish with mussels which was spiced so perfectly. And shout out to our server, Max: they were laid back and casual and so friendly. The food was amazing but Max's service really elevated the experience and made our meal something to remember.
Great pizzas and a great little patio on a quiet side street off King E. Small but proper wine list, and authentic pastas. Pizzas are creatively topped and tasty charred on the edges and soft in the middle.Construction noise does somewhat dampen the ambience but then go after 7 when it’s shut down that’s not the restaurant’s fault.
