Loblaw's - Toronto

Although not impressed with the Weston’s abuse of their workers (salaries), how the company price fixed Bread prices for over a decade, and the reduction of actual cashiers to “self serve” (another capitalist move), If it wasn’t for the staff at this location, the store would be nothing, and I would not purchase from there. Great assortment, a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality. Hey Weston’s!!! Wake up, and treat your staff and loyal customers right! We have other grocery store options!

Last week, my best friend and I were on vacation at the Holiday Inn hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and found a great shop there that had everything we needed. One thing that stood out to me was the incredibly beautiful gingerbread house with candies, chocolates, and even a Santa. They did an amazing job with it! I also appreciated the samples provided. The candy cane cheesecake lollipop was the best. Thank you!

Love this store and the food selection. The staff are great and it’s worth waiting in line for a cashier. I agree with others. It would be better if there were more people working here! More staff in the isles to direct people who aren’t familiar with the store would keep the flow moving at busy times and more cashiers would limit wait times. We don’t want more machines we want more Loblaws employees helping us -the customers.

Yesterday, we brought our autistic son to Loblaws to visit the Toy Shop that was set up for the holiday season. Our son struggles with large crowds and loud noises, so we were pleased to find that the Santa was friendly, cheerful, and patient with him. Surprisingly, there was no line and the atmosphere was calm, even though there were children decorating cookies nearby. Our son was able to spend quality time with Santa without feeling rushed. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it to other parents of children with disabilities. We will definitely be returning next year. Thank you, Loblaws, for providing this special opportunity for children during the holiday season. As a parent, I am truly grateful for the chance my son had to see Santa in a comfortable environment.
