Located near Exhibition Station, it was easy to locate on the lower level with a spacious dining and bar area, along with a newly opened patio. Initially denied patio seating upon arrival, my friend's insistence eventually landed us a table outside. I wish I had known about the patio when making reservations!
My friend Gord and I had dinner tonight at Liberty Commons in Liberty Village, which just recently opened. They have a beer store by Big Rock if you're looking to grab a drink. Gord enjoyed his Scotch Egg and said he would definitely order it again. I opted for the Jerk Chicken as my main dish and thought it was delicious enough to order again. Gord tried the Beef Brisket and thought it was really good as well. I had a taste and found the beef to be tender with a nice smokey flavor. For dessert, Gord ordered rice pudding, which he loves, and I tried a few spoonfuls. Our server Sarah took good care of us throughout the meal. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning in the future!
Good location if going to Budweiser Stage for a concert. Started out on the patio but construction noise brought us inside. Service was attentive but waitress was quite unexperienced. Brought our mains before the appetizer. The restaurant did not charge us for the appetizer. The table had brisket and wings. The brisket was tender. The coleslaw and beans were good. The appetizer was pierogi with jalapeno. It was quite spicy even for me and I like spicy. Ordered the sangria which was disappointing. Very watery. My husband enjoyed the beer. Gets busy around 6:00pm.
Found this restaurant really good. Sufficient space that there was no line up and the food and beer was excellent. Had the beef brisket and the fish and chips and both were excellent.
It's a nice change to the scene at Liberty Village, in that, this place in terms of design, doesn't look like the average pub in the neighbourhood. A bit eclectic in design, it seems to be bistro combine with steam punk. On both visits, we had a tasting menu of beers which were all nice, including their special brews. The food was good for the venue it is. There weren't complaints with this picky bunch. It is very dark inside, which is nice, only downside, it's hard to see the menu, but a cell phone helps. I do like that it's not noisy. While they play music it's not at the levels like other pubs, where you cannot hear the person across the table from you. They do have a nice outdoor patio.I would definitely keep this place in my go to neighbourhood place for drinks and some nibbles. I will have to try more of the menu. It seems to be an O
