Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe were a group of six relatives in search of a cozy place with great food; we nailed it. The owner and server with 20 years of restaurant experience is a walking encyclopedia of food yet rarely impose it. He helped with the wine and drinks selection to suit our taste without pushing expensive drinks. When we wished to try a wine, a bottle was opened, and we did not like it; he was most accommodating and encouraging to try something else. Food was just high-quality and healthy. Every dish was well explained and better than expected. We will definitely return next time in Toronto."
Four of us went to this restaurant after reading the positive reviews. The restaurant lived up to the reviews. Three of us had the tasting menu which was very reasonably priced. We were asked individually what we liked and based on that they served us an excellent four course meal. I had a basil chicken with gnocchi (made of cheese) which was delicious. My friends had the bouillabaisse which they loved. We had several appetizers - beef tartar; escargot; and a duck confit with a cheese. All were really good. The desserts were great as well and were done so that we could have several different tastes. The service was exceptional. The wine choices were good and again quite reasonable. It was a lovely meal. There are so many big restaurants in the city - this is a lovely gem that I encourage anyone to try.
We've been twice with another coup le each time. Excellent food and superlative service with so much attention to detail without the attitude. Both couples we went with have returned with others and we will be back for sure!
Nice cocktails, especially the New York with 3 marinated cherries! Beef tartare was very good but the steak frites was exceptional!
Must Try, This restaurant has become my favourite in TO. The tasting menu is amazing the service is super friendly, not just the server but even the kitchen staff is super friendly, they accommodate the tasting menu to any allergy, which luckily I don't have but I do hate mustard. the made just such an amazing tasting menu. The have a fair wine list, that matches what our eating, they don't pressure to buy the expensive one they suggest the one that goes to your tastes, and the suggestion they gave me was one of the lowest price (only one dollar over cheapest)I'm definitely coming back for a different tasting menu, to see what the chef has to offer.
